A breast cancer survivor and patient advocate, Punita Khanna, is an inspirational speaker who shares her cancer journey to motivate others to be vigilant about their health. Punita never expected to hear the words, “you have breast cancer”.
At different stages of her cancer treatment, Punita was presented with opportunities to participate in innovative testing. Her test results enabled her physician to develop a personalized treatment plan for her which improved her quality of life.
Punita speaks from her lived experience to raise awareness, educate audiences about early detection, treatment options and to thrive after cancer. She is a passionate advocate who sheds light on the struggles after treatment and the persistent challenges that must be overcome because of the disease.
As a South Asian woman living with breast cancer, Punita hopes that her
speaking about the disease showcases the diversity of individuals affected by the disease and inspires others to explore their own treatment options.
